Nationwide History 300 Racing Odds: Hamlin and Busch top Favorite

Stenhouse Jr. won his third Nationwide Series race of the season last weekend, taking the checkered flag in the Pioneer Hi-Bred 250 at Iowa Speedway. That has him tied with Sprint Cup Series regular Joey Logano with three victories through the first 10 races of 2012.

And that also has Stenhouse Jr. 34 points ahead of Elliott Sadler – who has won twice on the Nationwide Series this season – in the driver standings heading into the weekend's event at Charlotte. Sprint Cup Series regulars aren't eligible for the Nationwide points race.

Stenhouse Jr. is tied for second at 17/4 odds to get the win in the History 300 on Saturday, putting him behind Hamlin (13/4) and even with Busch (17/4) on that motor racing odds list at Bovada Sportsbook. Kevin Harvick is pegged at 21/4 odds, with Logano at 29/4 to get the win.

Sadler then sits at 37/4 on those Nationwide Series odds, with Kasey Kahne at 10/1, and Austin Dillon at 17/1. Sadler and Dillon have each picked up eight Top-10 results through 10 Nationwide races this season, while Stenhouse Jr. leads the way with nine Top-10s.

Of the Sprint Cup Series drivers who race on the Nationwide circuit, Logano has had the most success with his three wins and five Top-10s in eight starts, while Kahne has finished in the Top 10 five times in seven outings. Hamlin has four Top-10s in five Nationwide Series races in 2012, while Harvick has three Top-10s in his four races on the circuit.

Busch has just two Top-10 finishes in his six Nationwide Series races this season, but he's also won this event in four of the past eight years. Kahne won this race in 2007.

Sam Hornish Jr. (28/1), Justin Allgaier (35/1), Travis Pastrana (50/1), and Danica Patrick (50/1) round out the listed drivers on the Nationwide Series odds at Bovada Sportsbook for Saturday's race, with Patrick having earned just one Top-10 finish through 10 races this season.
