Highlighting this year’s menu of events is Del Mars’s headliner, the Pacific Classic. This Grade 1 feature, set for 3-year-old thoroughbreds and older, will be the 15th running of this annual event. With a purse set at $1,000,000, Del Mar is sure to attract top ranked horses and jockeys from around the state and from around the country to run this mile and a quarter feature race slated for August 21.
