The golf betting world is still buzzing about Tiger Woods' win in the Memorial last weekend, but he'll have to give up some of the spotlight this week as he takes a pass on the FedEx St. Jude Classic at TPC Southwind in Memphis, Tennessee.

Instead, it's Rory McIlroy and Zach Johnson who sit as the 9/1 co-favorites on the golf odds at Bovada to win the tournament this week in Tennessee and get some momentum heading into next week's U.S. Open at the Olympic Club in San Francisco.
McIlroy didn't play in this event last year, and he started out well at the tournament in 2010 with rounds of 69 and 66 before fading over the weekend and ending up in a tie for 29th place – eight strokes back of winner Lee Westwood, who isn't playing this week.
Johnson ended up tied for 12th place at the St. Jude Classic in 2010, five strokes back of Westwood, but last year he ended up tied for 32nd place at TPC Southwind – which put him 12 strokes back of Harrison Frazar, who beat Robert Karlsson in a playoff.
Frazar, sitting at 101 in the World Rankings, is an 80/1 Bovada longshot to win the tournament once again this week, while Karlsson is sitting with David Toms and Graeme McDowell at 25/1 odds to take the trophy on Sunday in Tennessee. Toms is a two-time winner of the St. Jude Classic, winning the tournament in both 2003 and 2004.
Dustin Johnson (16/1) rounds out the top tier of contenders for this week's St. Jude Classic on the golf odds at Bovada; he tied for 19th place at the Memorial last week.
Martin Laird is then at 28/1 for the week, with Brian Gay, Charles Howell III, Fredrik Jacobson, and Ryan Palmer all at 33/1. Gay won the St. Jude Classic back in 2009. Woody Austin, who won this event back in 2007, is a big 125/1 longshot for the week. Justin Leonard, who won in 2005 and 2008, is also back at 125/1.
