Patriots Look to add 9th Consecutive AFC East Crown to Repertoire

New England Patriots 2017-18 NFL Season Preview Football Odds & Free Predictions

The Story:
The defending Super Bowl Champions New England Patriots will look to notch their third title in four years and although it seemed they would regress after that dramatic win over the Falcons last February, they just keep defying logic by getting better and better with genius moves. Yes, QB Tom Brady just turned 40 this year, but as long as he and Coach Bill Belichik keep running the show in Foxboro, the Patriots are again the odds-on favorite (+375) to repeat as Champions.

The Patriots are loaded with talent with Brady leading the way. A decline from his part will eventually arrive but the QB’s strict regimen and will to thrive is undeniable and unlikely at this point. Most of Brady’s munitions will be back for an encore and although they lost some key ingredients in the weaponry, they refurbished their roster with a new battery and then some. They stole RB Mike Gilleslee from rival Buffalo and added WR speedster Brandin Cooks to compliment Julian Edelman and TE Rob Gronkowski. This attack will be scary and with a defense that allowed the fewest points in the league last season relatively intact, a perfect season could be in the cards for the Pats.

New England Patriots Offseason Moves

1st and 2nd round Draft Picks: none.

All Time Eastern

The Bottom Line:
It would be shocking to see the Patriots losing more than two games this season, they are that good. It will be a cakewalk for the Champions in the AFC East as they sweep all their division rivals and although a perfect regular is realistic, they will somehow have a hiccup on their way to yet another postseason.
