Logano won the Nationwide Series race at Kentucky Speedway in each of 2008, 2009, and 2010; the 2008 result made him the circuit's youngest-ever race winner. However, Keselowski took the checkered flag at the Feed the Children 300 at the track in 2011.
And those two Sprint Cup Series regulars are both on the entry list for Friday night's race at Kentucky. Logano has already won five Nationwide Series races in 11 starts this season, with six Top-5 results and eight Top-10 finishes. Keselowski has won once in 11 starts on the circuit in 2012, with six Top-5 results and seven Top-10 finishes.
Elliott Sadler finished in fifth place at the Feed the Children 300 in 2011, and with two wins, six Top-5 results, and 10 Top-10 finishes in 14 races this season he's the standings leader, sitting 11 points up on Austin Dillon and 23 points ahead of Ricky Stenhouse Jr.; Sprint Cup regulars like Logano and Keselowski don't qualify for the Nationwide Series title.
Kevin Harvick was second at the Nationwide Series race at Kentucky last year, and he won this event the first time it was held back in 2001. Friday will mark Harvick's sixth race on the circuit this season; he has no wins, three Top-5 results, and four Top-10 finishes.
Denny Hamlin and Kurt Busch are the other notable Sprint Cup Series names competing in the Nationwide Series event on Friday; neither were in this race last season. Stenhouse Jr. ended up in ninth place at the 2011 Feed the Children 300, and he has three wins, seven Top-5 results, and nine Top-10 finishes through 14 races so far this season.
