England will be aiming to advance to the knockout stage of Euro 2012 with a victory on the Las Vegas Euro 2012 Soccer Odds over host Ukraine on Tuesday (2:45 pm Eastern), as Group D action concludes with a decisive showdown at Donbass Arena in Donetsk, Ukraine.
Sitting on four points with a tie against France and a victory over Sweden already in the books at Euro 2012, England is tied atop the Group D standings (with France) and now listed at 11/1 on the updated Las Vegas odds to win Euro 2012.
Joleon Lescott, Andy Carroll, Theo Walcott and Danny Welbeck have scored the goals for England, which opened with a 1-1 draw versus France before following that up with a 3-2 win over Sweden. Yellow cards have been issued to Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain, Ashley Young, and James Milner.
Star striker Wayne Rooney is expected to rejoin the England lineup after serving his abbreviated two-game suspension, while Walcott is doubtful after suffering an apparent flare-up on Sunday of a hamstring injury that has hampered him since the latter stages of the Premier League season.
Ukraine, meanwhile, is only one point back of England after beating Sweden 2-1 before getting shut out by France in a 2-0 result on Friday. The dangerous Andriy Shevchenko, who scored both goals in the win over Sweden, is reportedly doubtful for the match against England on Tuesday with swelling in his left knee. Yevhen Selin and Anatoliy Tymoshchuk have both been booked.
