Olin Browne is the defending champion at the U.S. Senior Open, but it's Fred Couples and Tom Lehman who opened as the co-favorites to win the event on the Bovada Sportsbook Golf U.S. Senior Open Las Vegas Odds at Indianwood Golf & Country Club in Lake Orion, Michigan.
Browne finished three strokes ahead of Mark OMeara to take the major title on the Champions Tour at Inverness Club in Toledo in 2011, with Mark Calcavecchia ending up four strokes back in third place at the event. Hale Irwin and Joey Sindelar were then five strokes back in a tie for fourth.
Couples wasn't in the field for the U.S. Senior Open last year and Lehman finished in a tie for 23rd place, but they're still both atop the golf odds at 8/1 to claim the title this week.
Bernhard Langer is then pegged at 10/1 odds to win the tournament this week, and he won the U.S. Senior Open by three strokes over Couples in 2010 at Sahalee Country Club in Washington. Browne finished six strokes back of Langer in third place that week, while Lehman had to settle for a 13th-place result.
Michael Allen (11/1), Kenny Perry (12/1) and Calcavecchia (14/1) round out the top contenders on the golf odds for the U.S. Senior Open this week, with each of Kirk Triplett and Brad Bryant at 16/1 odds, and Jay Haas at 18/1 odds. Bryant won the tournament in 2007 at Whistling Straits in Wisconsin.
Russ Cochran and Fred Funk have both been pegged at 25/1 odds, with Funk the champion at the event in 2009 at Crooked Stick Golf Club in Indiana. Eduardo Romero, the 2008 winner at Broadmoor Golf Club in Colorado, is a 200/1 longshot on the Golf U.S. Senior Open Las Vegas Odds this week.
