Entering the tournament as the favorite to win the tournament at 7/4, Novak Djokovic made it through the first round in straight sets (6-3, 6-3, 6-1) in defeating Juan Carlos Ferrero. He’ll be a heavy favorite Wednesday against Ryan Harrison, a 20-year-old American pro currently ranked 48th in the ATP rankings. Harrison defeated Yen-Hsun Lu in four sets Monday.

Right behind Djokovic and Rafael Nadal on the betting board at 7/2 to win Wimbledon, Roger Federer kicked off his tournament with a strong win in straight sets (6-1, 6-1, 6-1) over Albert Ramos. His opponent Wednesday will be Fabio Fognini; Fognini ranks 68th in the ATP rankings and defeated Michael Llodra in four sets on Monday.

No. 8 ranked Janko Tipsarevic also took care of business in straight sets on Monday defeating David Nalbandian. Tipsarevic will look to continue his progress Wednesday at Wimbledon going up against American pro Ryan Sweeting, who should be well-rested as his opponent Potito Starace retired Wednesday in the second set of their match.

No. 34 ranked Viktor Troicki’s played a great match against No. 24 Marcel Granollers on Monday. Troiki upset the Top 25 pro in five sets on Monday (7-5, 7-6, 3-6, 2-6, 8-6), and will look to make more noise in what should be another good match on Wednesday against No. 62 ranked Martin Klizan. Klizan topped Juan Ignacio Chela in a five-set battle of his own on Monday (7-5, 3-6, 7-6, 1-6, 11-9).

Other interesting matchups to look out for Wednesday include Mikhail Youzhny vs. Inigo Cervantes-Huegun and Florian Mayer vs. Philipp Petzschner.
