Boston embarrassed Miami the last time the teams met on April 1, winning 91-72 at home behind a triple-double from guard Rajon Rondo – 16 points, 14 assists, 11 rebounds.
Paul Pierce led the way with a team-high 23 points for the Celtics in that win, while Brandon Bass picked up 16 points and 10 rebounds, and Kevin Garnett was held to just 10 points. Ray Allen sat out that contest for Boston with a sore ankle.
