Roger Federer has looked absolutely dominant through the first two rounds of Wimbledon, topping Albert Ramos (6-1, 6-1, 6-1) and Fabio Fognini (6-1, 6-3, 6-2) in straight sets. He is -10000 chalk against Julien Benneteau on Friday. Benneteau is going off at +2200 and is currently ranked 32nd in the ATP rankings. He defeated Michael Russell (7-6, 2-6, 6-4, 7-5) on Wednesday to advance to this stage.

No. 8 Janko Tipsarevic had a tough time dispatching Ryan Sweeting in the second round, but he eventually got the job done in four sets (5-7, 7-5, 6-4, 6-2) and will be favored Friday going up against Mikhail Youzhny. Currently ranked No. 30 in the ATP rankings, Youzhny has looked sharp at Wimbledon so far as he defeated Inigo Cervantes in straight sets on Wednesday (6-1, 6-3, 6-4).

In what could be the best (or at least most evenly matched) match of the day, two 26-year old Top 20 players collide Friday when No. 11 Nicolas Almagro faces No. 19 Richard Gasquet. While Gasquet comes in with the lower ATP ranking, he does enter the match arguably in better form and significantly more well-rested. Gasquet defeated Tobias Kamke (6-2, 6-2, 6-2) and Ruben Bemelmans (6-3, 6-4, 6-4) in straight sets while Almagro has put in a lot more work in wins over Oliver Rochus (6-7, 3-6, 7-6, 6-2, 6-4) and Guillaume Rufin (6-2, 5-7, 6-2, 6-5).

Novak Djokovic dispatched Ryan Harrison in straight sets (6-4, 6-4, 6-4) on Wednesday, but he doesn’t have an opponent for Friday as the match between Benjamin Becker and Radek Stepanek was suspended. Djokovic will face the winner of that match when one is decided.

Other scheduled matches on Friday include Juan Monaco vs. Viktor Troicki and Florian Mayer vs. Jerzy Janowicz.
