Six of the ATP’s top 10 players, including Rafael Nadal, kick off their 2012 Wimbledon campaigns this Tuesday in the second and final day of action in the tournament’s first round. Bet on ATP tennis at Bovada Sportsbook.
Currently going off at 21/10 odds to win Wimbledon and a heavy favorite to meet Novak Djokovic in the final, No. 2 ranked Nadal draws Brazilian pro Thomaz Bellucci who is currently ranked 80th in the world. Bellucci is listed at +1600 to pull off the miracle upset with Nadal available at -10000.
No. 6 Jo-Wilfred Tsonga is a -900 favorite Tuesday over veteran pro Lleyton Hewitt (+500). While Hewitt has dropped to No. 202 in the ATP rankings due to inactivity, the 31-year-old does have 28 singles titles to his name over a 14-year career.
Fresh off of his fourth singles title of the year in winning last week’s UNICEF Open, No. 5 David Ferrer looks to get his tournament off on the right foot against German pro Dustin Brown, who currently ranks 164th in the ATP. Ferrer is a -5000 favorite and Brown is a +1100 underdog.
Going off at -3300 is No. 4 Andy Murray, who will be looking for a big showing in this tournament in his home town of London. He’ll face No. 47 ranked Nikolay Davydenko (+1000), who like Hewitt is a seasoned 31-year-old veteran with 21 career singles titles under his belt over the last 13 years.
