Radwanska, the No. 3 seed at the tournament, advanced to the final with a 6-3, 6-4 win over No. 8 Angelique Kerber of Germany on Thursday. The native of Poland had needed three sets to get past No. 17 Maria Kirilenko of Russia 7-5, 4-6, 7-5 in the quarterfinals of the event; she'd been listed as a +120 underdog against Kerber on Thursday.
Williams, the No. 6 seed in the women's draw at Wimbledon this year, reached the final with a 6-3, 7-6 win over No. 2 Victoria Azarenka of Belarus on Thursday. Serena was also tested in the quarterfinals against No. 4 Petra Kvitova of the Czech Republic, winning that match by scores of 6-3, 7-5. Williams was listed as the -200 favorite on Thursday.
For Saturday's final Williams is set as a big -700 favorite on the 2012 Wimbledon Final Las Vegas Odds at Bovada Sportsbook to claim another Wimbledon title; she also won this tournament in 2002, 2003, 2009, and 2010, and will be playing in the final of the event for the seventh time. Radwanska is set as the +500 underdog to topple Williams and claim the major tournament on Saturday.
Prior to the semifinals Williams had been listed as the 11/10 favorite on the tennis futures at Bovada Sportsbook to win the tournament, with Azarenka at 2/1, Kerber at 9/2, and Radwanska at 6/1. Those futures odds are now adjusted to Williams 1/7 and Radwanska 5/1 for Saturday.
